Let’s understand them a little more. There are three types of touch screen panels. The first one is called the resistive panel, which are widely used in phones, aerospace and medical equipments. They have the quality to resist high heat and come cheaper than the other two types as well.
The second type is the capacitive touch panel. These are touch-specific, as in, they respond to specific type of touches only-like touch of a finger. The third type is called surface acoustic panels which respond to harder objects like a screen touch pen. Custom designed touch panels are special touch panels which are used in military equipment.
